I am in the first stages and I am irritated that I didn't have my corset pattern and now I want to make an entire new one with more rigid boning.  Though I don't want to actually do the work.  I want to finish it by way of genie head nod instead.  I also want to make an actual Spanish Farthingale in the same manner.  For now that purchased hoop will have to do.  Thank goodness my daughters and I are short folk

Today I accomplished putting in the rest of the boning, adding fusing, sewing the lining to the front and adding the bias tape around the corset.  All I have left to do on it are the holes for the lacing.  I am not sure if I will add metal grommets and go over them in embroidery floss or actual button type holes (only round).  Both sound like a pain.  I wish those Tudor types had zippers or just wore a bra   I'm tired of looking at that corset, can you tell.
